They operate under the principles of the World Fair Trade Organization, which promotes fair trade, equitable and healthy work conditions for the artisans.

 

They take care to preserve traditional Mayan artisanal techniques, working alongside rural communities to create different social enterprises, which together form Taller Maya. Working within a socially responsible framework, Taller Maya redefines luxury with authentic artisanal pieces that, through their unique details, reflect the essence of the Mayan culture. 

 

Their product range includes clothes and bags plus homeware such as tablecloths, tablemats, cushion covers and so on. You will find modern and contemporary designs handmade by Mayan artisans.
